- Nice to be back to work after last week. I’m just going to pretend it never happened. La la la la!
# - Argh. I broke Outlook trying to fix a .NET Framework patch that wouldn’t install, and that IT was threatening to disconnect me for. *sigh* #
- @bobduffy I dunno what Twitter100 is, but the full list of Intel people I know of on Twitter is at http://twitter.com/pulseofintel/friends #
- @jmoriarty Just you wait until I launch @hooligansofintel…
in reply to jmoriarty # - @kellyrfeller What it means is that Twitter 100 only shows 100 people, and @pulseofintel is following about 135. T100 list is not complete. in reply to kellyrfeller #
- @TiEsQue I do LIFO on my email backlog (had a huge one today). Otherwise, I reply to stuff without reading the whole thread, and look dumb. in reply to TiEsQue #
- Skype for iPhone is out. It’s free. I’m playing with it. It’s too bad that I prefer text to voice conversations, but hey. #
- @funguyom I’ve never really used Fring, mostly because I hate voice calls in general, and there’s no real background IM on iPhone yet. in reply to funguyom #

- Major clearance going on at the Lego store in Washington square. 50% off some BIG sets. Going fast. Great deals. #
- I asked the Lego store how often they do a clearance like this, and they said maybe twice a year. And they never advertise it. #
- A guy in a suit snarfed up 7 or 8 of the big Lego sets, mostly Star Wars vehicles. At 50% off, I can’t blame him. #
- I was tempted. Vader’s Advanced Tie (big) was only $25. If I hadn’t just bought a couple Lego sets for me and the kids, I would have caved. #
- Really windy in Aloha. Big trees swaying. Lights flickered a few times. #pdxtst #
- We owe a huge thanks to everyone who’s brought us meals, and otherwise helped us out this week. #
- @motherpopper and @hangry: Thank you so much for the cupcakes. They were yummy! A perfect treat.

- @camikaos I saw that, and knew you’d have something to say.
But @verso says Crocs are going out of business. I need to stockpile! in reply to camikaos #
- Taking @rachelbancroft home from the hospital in about a hour. SO GLAD to be going home. The room recliner and I are no longer getting along #
- Catching up on home stuff. Groceries, tidying, watching a movie with the kids.
So nice to have @rachelbancroft home…
#
- Woo hoo! @rachelbancroft gets clear liquids today, and might get to go home tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
# - Took the kids for a much needed visit to see @rachelbancroft in the hospital today. It’s only been a few days, but we miss them! #
- Won’t be tweeting much for a couple of days. @rachelbancroft is in the hospital. She’s doing OK, hope to be home soon. Not a fun weekend… #
- Thanks for the kind words. We’re being well taken care of, and she’s doing much better. Thank you for thinking of and caring about us!
# - I’m glad St. Vincent’s hospital provides free wifi, but the login/capture page is janky (esp. on iPhone), and FTP, SSH, and VPN are blocked. #
- @PDXsays See my tweets from this morning. @rachelbancroft is in the hospital here. She’s doing OK, we hope to go home in another day or so. in reply to PDXsays #
- In other news, I have a really hard time typing the word hospital. I don’t type it very often. My fingers keep wanting to type hopstial… #
- Excellent – Logitech is going to make a Bluetooth adapter for its Harmony remotes, so they can control a PS3. Yay! http://tinyurl.com/cv3lzh #
- As busy as I’ve been today, you’d think I’d have accomplished more. But any day that starts with a trip to Home Depot for new tools is good. #
- I admit it. I love Papa Murphy’s pizza. The chicken garlic and Cowboy are staples in our household. #
- Hmm. It seems that my Notes and Shared Items from Google Reader are no longer coming through as comments in… http://ff.im/1DhRk #
- I am absolutely NO good at *teasing* info about something I’m really excited about. I just want to blurt it all out!
# - @jojohnson I can’t say right now, but as soon as it’s ready, you won’t be able to get me to shut up about it. All in due time…
in reply to jojohnson # - Wow. Corn bread catfish nuggets in the JF5 cafe today. I’ll pass, though. http://twitpic.com/294uq #
- Does it bother you to hear people say “iTouch” instead of “iPod touch”? It drives me crazy. Not because of loyalty,, but because it’s wrong. #
- I think it’s a character flaw I have. I get annoyed when people say things are just not correct. Not “elevated stress level”, but annoyed. #
- @kellyrfeller Welcome to the world of iPhone! One of us!
For complete Twittering bliss, you simply MUST get and use the app Tweetie. # - My friend Kevin (@sourcecode) at work got one of the new iPod Shuffles. It’s REALLY tiny. Wow. Pics with my USB drive: http://bit.ly/4M26o #
- Also, I tested the new Shuffle’s inline headphone controls with my iPhone 3G. As expected, the click works, but up/down doesn’t. #
- @googlevoice just read (text to speech) the name of an incoming caller to me. I don’t think GrandCentral ever did that. Neat. #
- @mike_strock You still haven’t been upgraded to Google Voice? Wow. I thought everyone would have been done by now. in reply to mike_strock #
- @mike_strock It’s just luck, trust me. There’s nothing special about me.
