Google Voice appears to integrate with your Gmail contacts (at least, it did for me). Handy, because it syncs with my iPhone. Nice. #

Wait, what? There’s a new iPod Shuffle? Now it talks to you. Controls moved to the earbud cord (boo!). $79 for 4GB isn’t bad, though. #
@bmw It’s $79 for the 4GB shuffle, and $79 for the Apple earbuds with the controls. The pack in hard plastic ones KILL my ears, can’t use em in reply to bmw #
Seriously, though, the lack of ability to use non-Apple earbuds (or a 3rd party adapter with controls) on the Shuffle is a real bummer. #
This $9 adapter from Fastmac has inline play controls that work with the iPhone. I assume it works on the new Shuffle: http://bit.ly/16v07c #
I have that Fastmac adapter, and use it with my iPhone. It’s great for keeping the inline controls/mic, but using any headphones you want. #
