Dreary rainy day. Meetings downtown. Wish I had an umbrella. Hey, that was almost haiku! #
Picked up Guitar Hero World Tour last night. A few songs - Livin on a Prayer, Eye of the Tiger, Hotel California - were worth it alone. #
@rachebancroft was mostly on vocals, and me on guitar, but we switched around. Vocals are hard! #
And our crappy old 27″ CRT TV just doesn’t cut it. So low res and fuzzy you can’t read the lyrics. Time to find $$ to upgrade it. #
One downtown meeting done, waiting to meet up now with @chrislogan at Stumptown. @portlandrain and @portlandsun battling for supremacy. #

The Amazon iPhone app has a feature called Amazon Remembers, where you take pics of stuff you want to buy and they match it (like SnapTell). #
If Amazon Remembers works well, it’s going to be a great feature. I’ll try it out later and report results. #
Tested Amazon Remembers by taking a picture of my Kindle. A little while later, I got an email with a match/link. Cooool! #

Getting new people involved in a community is hard. I say it’s more about a friendly, willing-to-teach attitude than any magic site or tool. #
A lot of us (including me) jump to “let’s build an X for that!”, but I think we’d get better results from more mentoring and friendshipping. #
