- Today has been insane. I feel like I’m being shortchanged about 30 minutes out of every hour. Way more stuff to do than I have time for.
# - I’m at home the next two days with our two housebears, Emma and Gabe, while @rachelbancroft is off to party at the coast with her sisters. #
- I predict in the next week or so, my number of Twitter followers is going to surpass my number of RSS subscribers to TinyScreenfuls.com.
# - @KristaNeher feed subscribers are like gold to me. I love each and every one of them. I love Twitter followers, too. Blessed to have so many #
- @susanreynolds Emma welcome dance on the way. As soon as she wakes up in the morning.
# - @susanreynolds You’re totally right. She’d love it. I’ll see if I can get video.
# - Skimming the parts about me in @charleneli’s "Groundswell", found a mistake. Intelpedia gets 700000 pageviews/month, not 700.
# - @rachelbancroft is off to party with her sisters at the coast. Emma’s still at school, I’m trying to get Gabe to take a nap. #
- Did you know that the blue and green dye in Crunch Berries passes through the digestive tract unchanged? I do. #
- @andruEdwards I’ve been shown the glory and light that is Final Cut Pro, and hope to never use iMovie08 again. You have my condolences.
# - What the heck is Brightkite? People started begging for invites in the last few minutes. No, I don’t have any.
# - 7PM, the kids are in bed. Now, let’s see how long it takes them to go to sleep!
# - There’s going to be an Ignite in SF on Tuesday night. Kathy Sierra is one of the presenters. Wish I could go! http://tinyurl.com/3vvulc #
- Kids are still not asleep. Gabe is yelling and jumping in his crib. I’m going nuts. Duct tape? Drugs? What are my options?
# - @purr they’ve had baths, books, story, song, etc. He’s not poopy. Just being a punk.
# - Tonight is going to be a lazy TV night. New episodes of The Office and ER (yes, I watch ER. Guilty pleasure.)
# - Gabe is finally asleep. Just went up and held him until he went to sleep. He’s so darn cute, I can’t stay upset at him!
# - Even with the incredible cheese, I think I pretty much have to go see Speed Racer when it comes out May 9. It was my fave show when I was 5. #
- I once tried to tell my 1st grade teacher that I had permission to go home early from school, to watch Speed Racer. She didn’t buy it.
# - @memathews Sure - tweetup for Speed Racer opening night? I’m in.
# - Tempted to go dig for old Speed Racer cartoons on YouTube, but I’m afraid they won’t live up to my memories. #
- @skyler That is a very good point, John Goodman could make it worthwhile, even if the movie sucks otherwise. That, and the animation.
# - @billpearson But now you can cross it off of your list! BTW, you should watch The Office.
# - @rodfather I think I saw a monkey in the SR trailer, but I can’t be sure. #
- @susanreynolds Bummer. We’ll do another dance tomorrow, see if that helps.
# - OMG The Office makes me laugh so hard tears squirt out of my eyes. Every episode. #
- @turoczy Oh yes, the humor/pain of The Office is what makes it awesome. Like Dilbert. #
- @psteinb Whoa. AMD started "A" (single) blog. Easy there, guys!
Welcome to the blogosphere, AMD! Free soda’s over there, BYOC.
# - LOL - Looking at the feed for AMD’s Nigel Dessau’s blog, you can see it was written/posted by his admin. http://tinyurl.com/5r426k #
- Maybe AMD’s and Intel’s executives have something in common, after all! #
- I tried to hit http://blogs.amd.com, to see what else they have, and I’m getting a login prompt. Oops. #
- And someone needs to tell AMD why they need to make their feeds full text. #
- AMD appears to be using Sharepoint for blogs.amd.com. I take back my gentle ribbing. Now I just feel sorry for them.
# - @segphault Not sure what the battery life will be, because sw isn’t final yet, and they haven’t released specs. But Atom is very low power. #
- @segphault Atom usually runs at 2 watts, and can run as low as 0.6 watts. Compare to today’s processors, and battery life will be way better #
- @segphault It is very exciting. Atom is really something else. And if I can ever hook you up with some MID hardware…
# - Just submitted a comment to the AMD guy’s blog, welcoming him to the blogosphere. Looks like they have approval/moderation turned on. #
- @billpearson The one on geek.com? Yeah, that was pretty cool. That’s where I learned about their blog. #
- @billpearson Yes, i did see that they linked to ISN. And I’m happy to see AMD jump in. More conversations = better, even competitors.
# - @memathews A guy at Google wrote an app called Twubble that suggests people to follow based on your friends. Bringing TONS of new people. #
- Gah. We need to get someone to talk about Intel’s Mac pilot program, which is larger and older than IBMs, but IBM is getting all the ink. #
- Well, I guess I’m done working on website stuff/mockups. mediatemple just went down for an unscheduled outage: http://tinyurl.com/3touzo #
- I think I’ve fixed all of the nagging WordPress/K2 errors on igniteportland.com. Finally. #
- OK, I’m fading. Good night Twitter! Catch you tomorrow!
