Rachel made an AMAZING dinner tonight. Recipe from Pioneer Woman - she even had the Tablet PC in the kitchen with her! I’m so proud! 
She’s always been a terrific cook. Tonight it was roasted garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and a big fat ribeye steak. Best meal I’ve had in recent memory. Thanks, sweetie!

Don’t forget the Martinelli’s, also our family’s special drink. Except for tonight. We had strawberry Crush, somehow appropriate for Valentine’s Day in color and name.
You’re right - we had Martinelli’s leftover from New Years. It was Apple-Grape, and so was a nice pinkish purple color, perfect for the occasion. Of course, it foamed up and spewed all over the table and all over my plate, so my dinner had a nice pink hue, too.
I will be glad to relinquish my ‘best dinner in recent memories’ award to my sister. Of course, it is not hard to beat chicken and spaghetti.
I had made a reservation at Jake’s and the babysitter a couple weeks ago thinking I would finally get ahead of the game. After all a happy wife is a happy family. Sydney got sick thus I had to cancel everything. Made a family dinner at home instead. Did save some money but would have loved the time together.
