Hmm. Tried to do a live video stream from the Eee PC using Ustream.tv, but it crashes Firefox. Going to try Mogulus, Yahoo Live, etc. #
Live.yahoo.com (or rather, Flash Player) couldn’t see the webcam on the Eee PC, but I could broadcast audio. Going to try Mogulus. #

@segphault tried both the webcam app and echo’ing 1 to the cam. Yahoo Live now says "cam in use by another app", not "no cam". Progress! #
@rodfather Yeah, that’s about what I’d guess. Flash for Linux doesn’t support the webcam in the EeePC (yet!) #
@aritenou You can WATCH streams all day long on the EeePC - video plays just fine, as does audio. But you can’t broadcast video. #
@aritenou Yeah, Adobe could update Flash to work with the webcam driver on the EeePC. It’s just a question of if and when. #

We’re doing an unusual (for Intel) but very cool exercise: everyone was to buy (or borrow) a book, then tell us why they chose that book. #

Today is the 3rd birthday of Intelpedia, the Intel-wide internal wiki I created. Celebrations taking place worldwide at Intel sites. #
Intelpedia has several “children”, wikis at other companies that I’ve helped people set up. It’s contagious! #
I never kept track of what companies I’ve helped with wiki stuff. Am thinking it would be nice to keep track, see how they’re progressing. #

Come by the Ignite thing at the library if you want, but I haven’t been advertising it, because it’s a really small space. #

I know people love OmniFocus for tasks, but I have 2 problems with it. 1) it’s not “in the cloud”, and 2) it’s really freaking expensive. #
