- To sum up “anti-Kindle” reasons: DRM is evil, no lending, no bulk/smell, upfront price, gadget stigma, no backlight, not unique like a book. #

- Here are a few of my reasons for loving Kindle: carrying TONS of books in my pocket, searching them all, looking stuff up on Wikipedia, etc. #
- I love that I was able to get a new. popular book (Breaking Dawn) from my hotel room on the beach without going to a store at midnight. #
- @JoshProStar But you CAN do all those social media things on a Kindle: feeds, Twitter, etc. It’s not perfect, but it works in a pinch. #
- I love that there are TONS of free books out there (Creative Commons, Feedbooks, Manybooks, Gutenberg, etc.). I’ve got dozens on my Kindle. #

- @unclenate re: dangers of digitizing everything - Have you read Vinge’s “Rainbow’s End”? It looks at that in detail. Bought on my Kindle #

- The Oddworld exhibit at the Oregon Coast Aquarium is very cool. It’s like walking around in Finding Nemo. #
