I use Google Reader: http://reader.google.com

Another really good online aggregator is Bloglines - http://www.bloglines.com

Both are free, and have a lot of similarities. Basically, once you create and account and sign up, you just start telling it what feeds you want to subscribe to. Go to your favorite sites, and see if they have a feed. If they do, subscribe to it (usually involves copying and pasting the feed URL into the "Add Subscription" button in the aggregator).

Once you're subscribed to some feeds, you'll find that they lead you to other interesting sites that also have feeds you might want to subscribe to. And and remove the feeds that you're subscribed to according to your taste. Once you get into the swing of things, you'll find that your aggregator becomes your own personal newspaper and hound dog - it goes out and brings you only the stuff you're interested in.

Hope that helps - let me know if you have any other questions! :-)

Hiya Josh,

Yesterday, you showed a bunch of us the RSS aggregator in Google. How can I set that up like you had it?

Thanks in advance for any tips you can share.

Josh, congratulations on a presentation well done. Having worked in high tech at least twice, I wasn't surprised at all by your t-shirt-cargo pants-Crocs attire. Since I'd looked up this blog and other bio info about you before the presentation, I was expecting a more technical and geeky presentation. However, I commend you on presenting a very human face to the technology. I think you did a great job of addressing those issues.

Josh, it was a great presentation. Your passion for podcasting, blogging and RSS is inspiring. I've just subscribed to your feed, so I'll stay in touch. I might have to get some orange shoes like yours, but they might have to be Nikes with an RSS swoosh. Thanks for sharing all this great stuff with us.
