Rachel and the kids have gone down to her parents’ in Eugene, Oregon, for a little rest and relaxation. There’s nothing like Mom to help you feel better.

That means that I’m a bachelor for a few days - until the weekend at least. I have a ton of blog/podcast related stuff that I’ve been wanting to work on, but things have been so crazy since Gabriel was born that I haven’t had a chance.

Not that I want to get everyone’s hopes up, but I’ve been feeling antsy about not updating much here, and I’m going to do something about it. Hopefully, it will be interesting and worthwhile.

@ahockley Of course you’ve seen more downtime and errors from Twitter than identi.ca. They’ve been around, what, a day and a half? #
@ahockley What’s going to happen when identi.ca has to scale to the size and number of users that Twitter has? If it’s slow and shaky now… #

Why do people bring dogs to parades? The sheer number of small children makes it… problematic - for everyone. #

So, iPhone people, now that launch day details are out (8 AM on 7/11), the question is: Line up, or no? #

@jmartens no, you can volunteer to be a node for PersonalTelco. They advocate that. They don’t just list any old hotspot. Growing a network. #
@jmartens for example, the free wifi at Powell’s and Cedar Hills Crossing mall in Bvtn? That’s PersonalTelco. #
