Thanks for pointing out that Flash template option. I never would have thought to look there for it, and I was getting kind of frustrated at the default of just linking to the video file. How about making “Flash with alternate formats” the default setting for cross posting? I bet that’s what most people would want out of the gate. In fact, I was in the middle of looking at the page source to see how I could hack my post to include the Flash player version.

Other features I’d like to see?

Video transcoding to iPod/PSP format. My camera records AVIs, but people iPods and iTunes don’t. Instead of me having to transcode before I upload, it would be great to have that option on the site.

Populate the “enclosure” field with the video URL when cross-posting to a blog that supports it (like WordPress).

I’m really digging blip.tv so far, and I’m going to be using it a lot more. Looks like you’ve got an excited evangelist on your hands. Thanks!

One thing I might recommend: Check out your cross-post settings (http://www.blip.tv/blogs/list/) and click “Edit” on your blog. Check out the Flash Thumbnail Flipper template. I think it may be good since you’re uploading AVIs.
