This was so “meta” and geeky that it blew my mind. At the Podcast on the Floor party tonight at the Jupiter Hotel in Portland, some friends are playing live music (mellow acoustic guitar stuff). I didn’t go the party (I’m beat!), but I did notice on Eric Rice’s blog tonight that the concert was going to happen simultaneously in Second Life on Slackstreet/MVR. So I logged in, and headed over. The live music stream was perfect, and I was hanging out and chatting with people who were both physically at the Jupiter Hotel, and present at the event in Second Life.

Blew my mind, man.

@verso It was simple. I use a category for my “linkblog” posts on blog. WP categories have their own feed. I tell soup.io to import the feed #
@verso So now my linkblog stays “as it was”, my blog gets more interested posts, and FriendFeed stays the same. Ahhh, elegance. #
Two very cool free iPhone apps I just discovered and downloaded: I. TV (slick TV listings, via @sourcecode) and Trapster (speed trap maps). #
@jezlyn Yeah, I’ve seen some other TV listings apps that weren’t free, and frankly didn’t sound so hot. I.TV works great so far for me! #
I need a special character to denote “this is a full, feature-length blog post”, like @gruber’s ? on Daring Fireball. Any suggestions? #
