I haven't had any scratching issues with my black 5G 60GB (though it was pre-scratched from living without a case for a while), so I hope maybe you just got a bad case, and the new one won't have that problem. Corey responded personally and addressed my concerns by promising to send out some scratch-removal solution and a new case to replace the original one I ordered. While I'm upset that my iPod was scratched by the protective device purchased to protect it, it seems that everything should be solved with their very professional response.
