Sorry to hear about your problems with the CF cards. I ordered a 2 GB card with my M-Audio and immediately formatted on the device. I haven't had any problems at all, knock on wood. I find the audio quality is excellent and the short Podcast I do solely on the M-Audio I don't have to post-process at all. What I found is to get the best audio quality I hold the M-Audio in front of my mouth rather than set it down on a table. After all, this is how you typically record with a "real" microphone.

<!--%kramer-pre%--> for mobile podcasting and use it exclusively for the jkOnTheRun Audio Edition podcast. Since I've picked up the M-Audio I see that two other podcasters have picked one up for their podcasts, Dave Ciccone and Josh Bancroft.Josh has posted an audio review of the MicroTrack that you can listen to here. It seems Josh had some problems getting a CF card to work with his MicroTrack but I have not experienced the same problems he talks about.<!--%kramer-post%-->
