That's something I've thought my whole life... why do people hate their jobs? Why do people follow others and do what others do instead of doing what they want to do? Life is so much more exciting when one is doing what they love. Everything you wrote there is excellent. I think another thing I'd try to teach my kids (if I had any) would be something along the lines of "Know and love yourself, because you're the only one who'll be there until the very end."
