Some of the gadgets I was using at the Portland Podcasting Meetup last night - my Thinkpad T42p laptop, Sony PSP, Audiovox SMT5600 Smartphone, Creative Zen Micro, Creative Muvo Micro, and Dell Axim X50v Pocket PC.

Brian Enigma had a brand new iPod Color 5G 60GB that he let me play with. The new podcast functionality, including shownotes and chapter marks, is really great. I took a lot of photos, and I’ll be posting them here soon.

iTunes “upgrade all your songs to DRM free” feature is based on purchase history. You can get back song files you’ve lost/deleted. #

PIcasa for Mac is fast. Very nice (my iPhoto library has 8000+ pics in it, and is slow like moleasses). “Find photos with faces” = cool. #

This Twitter phishing thing is purely social, right? No tech exploits. So how would the tech solutions being suggested (OAuth, etc) help? #
There is no fix for social attacks beyond education and careful security practices on EVERYONE’s part, says I. #

Reading Offworld costs me money. Just bought Zephyr (draw snow pictures, same world social features as Ocarina) and Passage for iPhone. #
