For the last year or so I've been using Google Suggest and I would really prefer to use it on a "personalized page" but Google doesn't offer that feature. So I searched and searched for a widget. Of course, there are none. I'm sure there is someone out there who prefers google suggest and has come up with a way to do this. They should advertise somewhere a little more popular.
