Want to get together with Chris Pirillo, Greg Hughes, Tim Germer, myself, and other cool geeks? Don’t forget to come down to McMennamin’s Blue Moon in northwest Portland tonight (corner of NW 21st and Glisan) for the Geek Dinner.

I’ll be podcasting, doing video, and who knows what else. I can’t wait to go home after work, and get my loadout/gear ready. I’ll be a walking geek exhibit! Please, don’t mug me!

It’s 0′dark thirty, and I’m about to get on a tiny Intel plane to Arizona for the day. I hear it’s powered by waste heat from Intel chips! #

Installed Ubiquity. So far, it seems like Quicksilver for Firefox. Which is SO completely awesome! This is going to change the web for me. #

I was unable to get my Intel VPN working all weekend (since Thursday, even at home), so I had a mountain of email to climb this morning. #
Oh UPS. A two week old Amazon order is showing “Left in a UPS Facility” as of a week ago. Call them, and they won’t do anything to help. #
UPS said the shipper (an Amazon 3rd party store) would have to file a claim. Argh! #

@kodachrome22 I’m confused. Does Flickup preserve geodata when sending to Flickr, so photos are geotagged? Notes say all EXIF gets stripped. #
Woo hoo! I just tested, and Flickup DOES preserve geodata on pics sent to Flickr. They show up on the map. Yay! #
Also, Flickup sends images full size (1600×1200) when the picture is taken with Flickup. Images sent from the Photo Album go as 640×480. #
