Look Ahead Search for Wikipedia - WikiWax

Search Wikipedia — using LookAhead from SurfWax

Another cool AJAX web app, like Google Suggest (my current home page). Get realtime predictive matching for Wikipedia articles. Nice. I always have a hard time finding what I want in Wikipedia if I don’t know what the exact article title is.

Cool. I actually had the idea of putting something like this into my webpage. I was going to do something like whats in Trillian. For my links on my blog entries, they would be linked to wikipedia, but also, if you hover over them, it would get the content from wikipedia, and display it on the mouse over.

But wikipedia has no API, so i ditched it, since it would just have ended up being a big hack with regex. I wanted to make it clean so everyone could use it. Maybe one day i’ll work harder on it, heh.
