I’ve been a happy FlexWallet user for quite some time now. I use it to store all manner of sensitive data on my iPAQ in an encrypted state. I’ve installed and played with the upgrade a bit, and so far, I like what I see. They’ve fixed a few of the bugs that really bothered me, and the new XP-style icons look slick.

Best of all, they’re offering 75% off the $24.95 purchase price for users who bought a previous version - that means that if you’re upgrading, you can get the new 2005 version (both Pocket PC and Desktop versions) for less than $7. You can’t beat that!

Kudos to TwoPeaks for making the choice to upgrade a no-brainer.

The Amazon iPhone app has a feature called Amazon Remembers, where you take pics of stuff you want to buy and they match it (like SnapTell). #
If Amazon Remembers works well, it’s going to be a great feature. I’ll try it out later and report results. #
Tested Amazon Remembers by taking a picture of my Kindle. A little while later, I got an email with a match/link. Cooool! #

The new Nokia N97 looks like a great device. Funny how everyone compares it to the iPhone. #

@lawduck My “fits in a tweet” netbook recommendation is an Eee PC 1000H or MSI Wind. But there are lots of other good ones. #
@lawduck Worried about size? Eee PC 901 or HP Mini Note 1000 is the way to go. But the HP has a slow 4200 RPM drive, and only 3 cell battery #

There’s going to be a “mini” Ignite Portland at the Keep Portland Weird festival at the Central Library, with a few alumni talks. 2:15PM #
Come by the Ignite thing at the library if you want, but I haven’t been advertising it, because it’s a really small space. #
I had visions of flooding the library with the throngs of people who seem to materialize whenever I mention Ignite Portland. #
Guess what? @jonathancoulton and John Hodgman did not one but two shows in Portland last night. I made it to niether. I’m lame. #
I’m at the Portland Central Library, 3rd floor, if anyone’s looking for me. Ignite “Keep Portland Weird” in 1 hr. #
